Itinerary

1st day: Marrakech – Dades Gorges

Tour Marrakech Merzouga will start, from your Hotel. We will cross the high Atlas mountains, a magnificent view across the road, the valleys, and berber villages. We will continue to Ouarzazate, and take a rest for lunch. The road will continue crossing Skoura Oasis, where multiple ancient Kasbahs has been devastated through the years among palm trees. When reaching Kalaat M’gouna, the valley of the roses, we will stop to have a look at the cosmetic articles which are locally-made from the valley’s abundant roses. We will spend a night at The Dades gorges valley.

2nd day: Dades Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast we will start with a quick round by the river. Then we will continue to Toudra, where there are different valley gorges. after lunch we will continue across the Ziz Valley, the towns of Rissani and Erfoud, to reach Merzouga. At Merzouga, you will have one hour ride on the Camel; an enjoyable experience to watch the sun rising, and the charm of the Moroccan Sahara. We will have dinner, and spend a night in the traditional nomad tent.

3rd day: Merzouga – Ouarzazate

After Sunset show and breakfast, we will start to Draa valley toward the village of Tazzarine, and to N’koob to have lunch. We will continue to Agdz, passing by oasis and Kasbahs, along with the river. We will stop at Tamnougalte Kasbah, which is an old kasbah, situated near Agdz, some parts of it stand rubble, but some are still fully occupied. Our last day journey will be across the Tizi-N-Tinfifite into Ouarzazate, in which we are going to spend the night.

4th day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will visit Kasbah Taourirt in the town, which has been belonged to the Glaoui family, the Pashas of Marrakesh along time ago. Driving north, we will leave the main road, and take a side road to Ait Ben Haddou, which also belonged to the Glaoui family, the wealthiest of the Atlas. This is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, in which the UNESCO World Heritage site is located. It is also well-known as being the backdrop for many Hollywood blockbusters. Our road will continue along the Ounila valley, you will see beautiful and prosperous villages, stunning mountains and views across the road toward Telouet, where we will stop to visit the Kasbah. Lunch would be either at the Kasbah or when climbing the mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech.
