Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Dades gorges

Start from your hotel, you will departure to Telouat by 4×4. before arriving at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After Kasbah, visit we’ll then move on to the City of Ouarzazate, often referred to as the Gateway to the Desert. After lunch break in Ouarzazate, we continue to Dades valley, via skoura palm grove and Roses valley. We’ll stop at Dades gorges, the where we’ll spend the night at a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga sahara desert

After having breakfast and admiring the beautiful views of the valley, we will head for the Todra Gorges, a narrow canyon 300m deep, coloured in incredible red-orange hues, a favourite for rock climbing lovers. Once arrived in Erfoud, we can visit the fossil museum, this area being rich in stunning fossils. After a break for lunch, we will continue to Merzouga where the camels will be waiting to take us on a ride to watch the sunset over the dunes, before reaching a Berber – style tented camp. Here you can savour the silence of the desert and, after nightfall, watch the starry sky while sitting by the camp  fire. Dinner and overnight accommodation in a tented camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Fes

After breakfast and sunset show, we’ll travel to Midelt. Your journey continues along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock and through the Ziz Valley and the fascinating landscape. You’ll stop in Azrou in the Middle Atlas mountains. In the Cedar forest there you’ll have the opportunity to see the Barbarian apes in their natural habitat, afterwards we depart for Ifrane. Then to Fes and drop in your hotel at Fes.
