Itinerary

Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech

Departure from your hotel in Marrakech before 8.00 a.m. and we make our way across the stunning landscapes to the coast. Along the way we shall stop to see the argan trees where small goats clamber up the low branches and feed. Sometimes there are as many as 20 goats sitting up in one tree. It is a fascinating sight and an absolute must when it comes to getting a photo opportunity.

Also along the way we will stop off at a women’s cooperative where argan oil is produced. Our Day trip to Essaouira arrives in the resort and port city where you’ll see the vast expanse of the North Atlantic Ocean. The vibrant old town (medina) is a world heritage site, and it won’t take you much to realize just why. Old brass cannons line the walls and ramparts protect the sea front from ancient invasions.
Our return journey will leave for Marrakech to arrive back in time for 6.00 pm.

Day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls

Your day tour from Marrakech to Ouzoud waterfalls will start with a 3 hours drive north of Marrakech by crossing the Tadla plains dotted with hundreds of olive tree farms.
Upon arrival at the village, start your walking journey downhill to the sources while admiring the splendid views.
En route, some local Barbary apes that do expect some nuts from you will greet you along the way !
Local restaurants are available next to the stream for a light lunch and to relax before you walk up to the village and meet your driver to return back to Marrakech.

Your day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls will end late in the afternoon in Marrakech with a drop off at your hotel or the nearest accessible point to your riad.

Ait benhddou kasbah Day Trip

We will start this day trip from Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou crossing the Atlas Mountains. After the Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side road to the Telouet Kasbah. From there you continue for lunch at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou along the newly asphalted road. The afternoon is spent exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, which has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood blockbusters. It was one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road caravan routes, where traders brought slaves, gold, ivory and salt from sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech and beyond.

Ourika valley day trip

Your Ourika valley day trip starts at 09am from your accommodation in Marrakech. After a short drive from Marrakech into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. We will take the road along the valley of Ourika, then you enter through a succession of clinging mountain villages. Ourika day trip from Marrakech will give you the chance to ride camels for half an hour deeper in the valley. Later on we will continue our tour to reach Setti Fatma, a favorite weekend destination for many Moroccans. Highly appreciated for its beautiful streams and 7 waterfalls, beautiful cliffs, green valleys. You will explore a region which still practice a medieval agricultural tradition. Walk around the valley to take photos of the views of green terraces, surrounding the Atlas mountains. lunch in a nice restaurant with a beautiful view over the mountains. Then we return to Marrakech around 5pm.
