See The ‘’Kasbah’’ built back to the 18th century, a heavily restored walled fortress that now has a lovely garden on Chefchaouen. However, your trip is uncompleted if you don’t visit Grande Mosque.
We start our journey from Fes driving to the Atlas Mountains , a wonderful Day Trip in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. We will have Imouzzer as a first stop, a lovely small village between Fes and Ifrane. We’re going to enjoy its fresh air there, before moving to Azrou witch is an authentic Berber township where you can see locals still having life in tent & caves. Later on , in our wonderful Atlas Mountains Day Trip, we will steal a brief glimpse of Berber apes jumping over the higher branches and swinging through the trees. Then , we will discover Ifrane and entertain seeing flower-lined paths and the French-style architecture of this quaint little ski resort. After that , we’re going to drive about 15 kilometers from Ifrane to reach a lovely stretch of water ” lake Dayit Awa” that will offer an incredible natural landscape & an ideal place to stroll & relax in front of that captivating lake. While, enjoying our tour, your driver will guide you to a traditional restaurant to have a tasty tempting lunch, also help with any in shopping if you would like to buy some of the local arts and crafts or even some souvenirs. Your trip ends back to Fes Medina in the late afternoon.
Departure from Fes at around 10am for a 1 hour’s drive west to the Imperial city of Meknes. Driving across the plain you will see vast acreages of vineyards which produce good quality wine. You will have up to three hours in Meknes to explore the town including the expansive souks, the fascinating historical sites and to take lunch. Moulay Ismail made Meknes the capital city of Morocco during his reign around 1700; his mausoleum and the Rouah, his stables for over 12,000 horses, together with Place el-Hedim, the central pedestrian square in the Medina, are well worth a visit. The souks of Meknes are refreshingly spacious compared to Fes, which makes the city a relaxing place to explore.
After lunch our journey takes you 30km north to the hillside settlement of Moulay Idriss.

Depart Volubilis returning to Fes at around 6.30pm.
